1st time I had been to Proud Galleries, Camden and it was a nice little venue.. Although it took me a couple of days to sort out a Press Pass, my name still wasn't on the Glist (surprise surprise) but the guy at the door said, "Let me see your camera, if it looks expensive (YES HE SAID EXPENSIVE) then i'll let you in" I laughed with a "Are you being serious?" expression, and it took a second for me to realise this guy is being for real. So i opened up my rucksak and all i needed 2 show was the Canon strap for him to say "Cool, go on in" I cannot believe that its now that easy for someone to say they are a photographer and be believed by just showing a bit of material which says Canon.. Hilariousss.
Anyway got in the venue, made friends with a couple girls who bought me a drink which was nice, i must've looked like such a loner for them to be so kind! hahah.. The show kicked off with Beardyman who was doing his thing...
Then Skepta came on!!!!
He's very good live, performed a lot in a short space of time, and used various grime samples to MC over the top. Very impressed.. and his bright outfit looked great through the lens!
